Over 22 Lakh Students Sit for NEET UG Exam Across 551 Indian Cities

The National Testing Agency successfully conducted the NEET UG entrance examination across India and abroad, with participation from over 22.79 lakh candidates. The exam was held at more than 5,400 centres spread across 551 Indian cities, ensuring accessibility for medical aspirants nationwide.

Candidates who appeared for the test reported that the question paper maintained a moderate difficulty level. However, many students noted that the three-hour examination was time-consuming, requiring efficient time management to complete all sections within the stipulated duration.

The large-scale conduct of NEET UG demonstrates the NTA’s operational capacity to manage one of India’s most significant entrance examinations. The widespread distribution of exam centres across multiple cities facilitated participation from candidates across various regions.
