UAE Air Defence Intercepts Missiles and Drones in Major Attack

The United Arab Emirates’ air defence systems have successfully intercepted a significant aerial attack, according to the Ministry of Defence. The interception involved 12 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles, and four unmanned drones. The successful defensive operation prevented any damage to critical infrastructure or civilian areas across the nation.

In response to the attack, the Ministry of Education announced temporary measures affecting educational institutions nationwide. Schools and nurseries, both public and private, will transition to distance learning for several days. The decision applies to students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel across all educational levels.

The coordinated air defence response demonstrates the UAE’s advanced military capabilities and preparedness. Authorities have not provided additional details regarding the origin of the attack or the circumstances surrounding the interception.
