The Kerala State Election Commission has confirmed that all preparations are complete for the vote counting process following the 2026 Assembly election. Chief Electoral Officer Rathan U Kelkar announced the readiness of all arrangements during a Friday briefing.
The counting will take place simultaneously across 140 centres established in 43 different locations throughout Kerala. This widespread distribution of counting centres is designed to ensure efficiency and transparency in the electoral process.
