Extreme Heat Grips Oman as Temperatures Soar Near 46°C

Oman is experiencing a severe heatwave, with the Civil Aviation Authority reporting dangerously high temperatures across multiple regions. Mahout has recorded the highest temperature in the nation at 45.9°C, marking an exceptional spike in heat conditions.

Several other areas are also suffering from intense heat. Sohar, Fahud, Muqshin, Haima, Yaaloni, and Mukhaiznah have all recorded temperatures ranging between 44.5°C and 45.0°C, indicating the widespread nature of the heatwave affecting the country.

The elevated temperatures pose significant concerns for public health and daily operations across the sultanate. Authorities continue to monitor conditions as the extreme heat persists throughout Oman.
