Bahrain is implementing a comprehensive road and traffic improvement programme designed to address congestion and enhance mobility across the kingdom. The initiative will focus on modernising key transportation routes and expanding critical infrastructure to support growing demand.
Three flagship projects have been confirmed for development. These include improvements to the Budaiya Highway, construction of the Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Highway Phase One, and a fourth bridge connecting Manama and Muharraq. These infrastructure enhancements are expected to significantly improve traffic flow between major population and business centres.
The projects reflect the government’s commitment to developing sustainable transportation solutions that will benefit residents and support economic growth.
