Kuwait’s unified defense system has demonstrated significant operational effectiveness in intercepting multiple categories of airborne threats. The coordinated response successfully neutralized 852 drones, 354 ballistic missiles, and 15 cruise missiles targeting critical infrastructure throughout the nation.
The intercepted attacks were directed at strategically important facilities including oil installations, power generation plants, maritime ports, and Kuwait International Airport. These sites represent essential components of Kuwait’s economic and transportation infrastructure.
The success of these defensive operations reflects the integrated coordination among four major security entities: the Kuwait Army, the Ministry of Interior Kuwait, the Kuwait National Guard, and the Kuwait Fire Force. This multi-agency approach enabled rapid response and comprehensive coverage across the country’s defensive perimeter.
The operation underscores Kuwait’s commitment to protecting its vital infrastructure and civilian population through advanced defense capabilities and institutional cooperation.
