India is experiencing contrasting weather patterns across different regions, with northern areas facing intense heatwave conditions while northeastern states prepare for significant rainfall. The National Capital Region, encompassing Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and Ghaziabad, is currently gripped by extreme heat, with temperatures reaching between 43°C and 45°C.
Meanwhile, northeastern states are preparing for a different weather challenge. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya are expected to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall in the coming days. This significant precipitation could bring relief to some areas while potentially causing localized flooding concerns.
The contrasting weather systems highlight India’s diverse climate patterns. While residents in the National Capital Region struggle with oppressive heat conditions, those in the northeast brace for substantial downpours. Authorities in both regions are advising citizens to take appropriate precautions for their respective weather challenges.
